Sometimes as a new entrepreneur or startup small business owner, a full-accounting program (like Quickbooks or Quicken to name a couple) provides a steep learning curve and offers more features that may be needed during the startup phase. Depending on the business type, all that may be needed during startup is a tool to simply capture expenses and revenue, more importantly is the development of a process to handle such financial transactions.
This 3-hour training session introduces using Microsoft Excel to create a simple and user-friendly tool to record and track daily financial transactions. Learn how to incorporate such Excel features as 3-D formulas, SUMIF, IF, Graphs/Charts, Filtering, as well as simple spreadsheet design techniques. The Microsoft Excel-based tool (workbook) will comprise of several worksheets, including an Income Statement worksheet, and a dashboard worksheet.
An additional benefit of the training program is provide the knowledge and skill set to attendees to become more efficient, effective, and productive users of a spreadsheet program.
